Library Rules

  • Books from the library will be distributed on a ‘first come-first served basis. Students will be liable if books are found incomplete due to delay in the admission process or late arrival in the library.
  • To get the textbooks issued throughout the year from the library, it is necessary to deposit the following rent amount only once in the first year of the degree. Which is Non-Refundable. Commerce & Arts Faculty – 500/-, Science and Computer Faculty – 1000/-
  • The above rent amount is for the entire duration of the course.
  • In case of loss or damage to the books received from the library, an amount of 1 times the face value will have to be deposited.
  • If the books are not deposited back in the seven days fixed by the college at the end of the year, there will be no right to get the books for the next balance, and also the rent amount deposited will be unpaid. A separate rent amount will have to be deposited again for the coming years. Therefore, all the students should submit their books on the prescribed dates. It is mandatory to submit the books received from the library for the whole session after the completion of the annual examination by the date given by the administration.
  • In the event of leaving the course or regular teaching in the middle of the session, it is mandatory for the student to return all the books received from the library. In its absence, action will be taken as per the rules.
  • In case the university changes the syllabus/books are unavailable, only the books available in the library will be given.
  • Before entering the library, the books, bags, umbrellas, etc. brought by the reader should be deposited at the counter.
  • The use of mobile, talking is strictly prohibited in the library.
  • It is forbidden to write, mark or otherwise damage any text material or objects in the library.
  • Maintaining peace in the library is the quality of a good reader.
